Hi, Just like to pass on findings to help others although I know these points have been covered elsewhere. 1- If, after downloading, the MD5 checksum is not 0E733AB1A8E8FF9A8684FD3639332773, vista will fail with error 80070241 even if it seems that the DVD burned ok. 2- Many, like me, seem to be having trouble installing using Silicon Image Si3112 controller. Make sure you use the Si3112r files even if you are not using RAID. Thanks for the opportunity to try out Vista. Going to try it out some more. Eddie.

Vista installed after md5 and si3112 problems.
